Wireless Music Streaming with TEAC´s WAP-8600
How is digital music transmitted into each room? Very simple task, if the multi room enabled audio streamer of TEAC are used. TEAC´s WAP-8600 allows transmitting wireless audio files from a PC right to a stereo sound system or to active speakers. And there’s even more. Using more than one receiver even several rooms can be provided with sound in parallel.

The heart of the system is a very smart remote control with a brilliant 3.5” touch screen display. It allows controlling of the whole functionality at the highest possible comfort level. While lazing on a sofa, one can enjoy browsing through a digital music collection where the names of artist and album, the title of the song, and the cover of the album are shown on the brilliant color display.

TEAC´s WAP-8600 is equipped with all powerful features of its top selling predecessor WAP-8500. Unbelievable – with the new WAP you just have to touch on a touch screen to get a direct connection to the most popular music provider „AUPEO!". Your favorite music is streamed to your stereo set. The whole packet for this feature is pre-installed.

Thanks to stable WLAN connections anything works without any distortions and disruptions.

Of course WAP-8600 is equipped with two (2) USB ports. They allow connecting two external data memories like USB sticks or external hard disks directly to the WAP receiver.

Last but not least, TEAC integrated also a VNC-Server Function. This feature allows mobile phone users (iPhone®/iPad®, iTouch®, Android®, Windows Mobile®, etc.) to convert their device into a second remote control. Just download a VNC App on your device, key in the IP-Address from your WAP-Receiver and the WAP-remote display will be shown on your device. Additionally you can download the WAP-Viewer from the TEAC homepage and install it on your Windows® PC. Now you can control your WAP also from your Laptop or PC !!
